During the Covid lockdowns in 2020, The Royal Birmingham Conservatoire (Acting) sent out a request for short scripts to be produced as graduation projects for the students.
'Swipers' is a result of a quick turnaround time to submit a piece before the 3-day deadline. The parameters were as such:
One location,
Maximum 4 characters,
Six pages in length.
The story follows a basic commentary on the effects of social media and social apps on the modern social and relational landscape.

The students produced this script for the 2023 graduating class.
